Old expressive saint figure with Pietà representation made of porcelain; around 1900; domina nostra de pietate - the Mother of Grace Mary as Mater Dolorosa, or also called Mother of Sorrows, with the body of Jesus Christ in her lap; in the style of Michelangelo's Pietà in St. Peter's Basilica; due to the horizontal, almost reclining depiction of Jesus, this is a very sought-after and rare depiction of the Pieta; the porcelain figure is hand-painted (colours and gold-painted), numbered "model number 540" on the back and is in good condition for its age, slight colour defects and slightly rubbed; traces according to age and use; masurement: approx. 18.5 cm high;
