Dagger with leather sheath and German dagger

Dagger with leather sheath and German dagger blade from the First World War (WW1); the blade has a smith's mark of the manufacturer - with the two letters "P.G" in an oval circle; the wooden handle is turned and was probably once covered with an ivory-coloured bakelite(? ); small remnants of it can still be seen in the lower decorated metal sleeve; the pommel is also a decorated metal sleeve - the rivet is missing; the blade itself is in good condition; the dagger has a classic quillons from this period; the leather sheath is also fitted with decorated metal sleeves; traces of use according to age; Dimensions: dagger length 26.5 cm - blade length 13.7 cm
