Military veterinary case from the 2nd World War. World War II (knapsack, saddle bag - WWII) made of brown leather with a beautiful patina of the Swedish army (1940 - 1945); a blue leather horseshoe is mounted on the front flap; inside there is still a glued-on note with the description of the contents, stamped with the Swedish three crowns next to it; the bag was used by farriers and veterinarians in the service of the Crown; strong robust leather sewn and in good condition; the military bag contained instruments and medicines for the treatment of horses (e.g. alum, lead sugar, lead, sugar). Alum, lead sugar, disinfectant, wound ointment, sulphonamide ointment, chloramine, etc.); the bag has many different compartments and a robust construction and can also be used for many other purposes; traces according to age and use; dimensions:  36,5 x 39 x 13 cm
