Products description
This historic medical teaching skull comes from the private collection of a specialist physician (20th century). The skull is marked with handwritten numbers to facilitate the identification of individual skull parts. It is a human skull with a beautiful patina and a well-defined, dark coronal suture (sutura coronalis). The cranial vault (calvaria) has been precisely cut and can be easily removed and separated along with the lower jaw using metal hooks and a spring mechanism. The cranial cavity is clean and well-preserved. The almost complete dentition is missing only one tooth. The skull can be disassembled into three parts. Typical signs of use, indicative of its use as a teaching aid, are present. Overall, the skull is in good condition. Dimensions: approx. 16,5 x 13 x 15,5 cm (LxWxH)
