Products description
Very old microscopic specimens (37 slides) in their original wooden case, dating from the 19th to early 20th century. The specimens originate from renowned botanist Adolf Winkler (University of Vienna), Fritz Meyer (Stazione Zoologica Napoli), and one slide produced by J. D. Möller Wedel in Holstein, dated 1869, with the specimen itself dated 1928. This remarkable collection holds significant historical and scientific value. The 37 glass slides are extensively labeled and stored in an antique wooden case, which features a handwritten inventory list inside the lid (not verified by us). An intriguing scientific collection from the 19th and 20th centuries (1880–1930), including a variety of specimens such as Cannabis sativa, vascular bundles, leaves, fibers, digestive glands, roots, and more. The specimens have not been tested. The box is incomplete. Age-appropriate signs of use (see photos). Case dimensions: approx. 16.5 x 23 x 4 cm.
