Small piano box with music box from the famous Swiss clock and music box factory "REUGE"; mid 20th century; the music box is made of wood with a great patina; the lid of the piano can be opened and fixed; inside there is space for jewellery or small utensils that can be stored; underneath there is the key to wind the spring of the music box; the key is stamped with the "REUGE" logo; when the lid of the piano is opened, the music box is activated by a hook and plays the melody "Liebestraum No. 3" by Franz Liszt; the music box runs perfectly; the company was founded in 1865 by Charles Reuge and is a traditional company; the company REUGE is known for quality and exclusivity and has been able to assert itself worldwide as a manufacturer of high-quality music boxes; a music box from REUGE is still one of the luxury goods with genuine workmanship; two screws have slipped out of the hinge, but can be repaired without any problems; signs of use corresponding to the age; dimensions: approx. 10 x 15 x 18 cm
