Antique miniature furniture Bauhaus 1919 bis 1933

Antique miniature furniture (industrial furniture) made of wood – printer's case (drawer chest; shop cabinet) for movable type; first half of the 20th century (Bauhaus 1919 to 1933); this type case was formerly used in a small print shop where movable type (individual letters or characters) was stored; the case has 11 drawers, some of which still have their full partitions, while others have had interior compartments removed (but can be retrofitted and reinserted at any time using the guide rail); all drawers open well; perfect patina from decades of use; one drawer (the top one) has been replaced over time; mini chest of drawers with sturdy tongue-and-groove joints; drawers glued and nailed; the drawers are labeled with letters (old typography) on the front and inside; some handwritten notes inside; the case is ideal for use as a collector's case and jewelry box and fits into any decor; usage marks appropriate for its age; dimensions of the case: 34.2 x 31 x 18 cm (w x h x d) / dimensions of the drawers: 31 x 2 x 17.5 cm (w x h x d).
