Large hand-carved standing figure; male with carved attribute on his shoulder (1970 - 1980); made from very light wood, probably Ghana (West Africa); Legs and torso were carved individually and then put together; Partially painted head; the figure was then produced for purely decorative purposes; traces of use according to age; measurements: 56,5 cm; provenance „Jürgen Maurer (1939-2018)“, prominent businessman, art collector and chronicler from Heppenheim (Germany) http://www.kunstsammlungmaurer.de
