Collection of individual antique sutra leaves from various prayer books; 19th - 20th century; handwritten in black ink; 8 double-sided leaves with partly beautiful handwriting, sutras are short Buddhist texts or verses and contain the Buddha's teachings (Dharma, Sanskrit: धर्मसूत्र dharmasūtra);

Not complete; the paper is yellowed to various degrees and partly cracked at the edges; signs of wear commensurate with its age (see photos); dimensions: approx. 6.5 to 9 x 17.5 to 22 cm; inspected by the Institute for South Asian, Tibetan and Buddhist Studies | University of Vienna
